Personal design project: An illustrated fairy tale called ‘Fairy Nuff’
I've for a long time had a passion for children's books and graphic novels. As this was a personal project I thought it would be good to involve some of my hands on traditional methods. The outcome is considered textile and loose illustration based. I experimented with different fabrics, paper, textures and various materials such as Fimo, buttons and sewing machine application to create something hand-rendered, with the aid of some computer software. I chose an existing fairy tale called Fairy Nuff to illustrate and created 5 spreads for a short story.
